Types of Compact Fans

Axial compact fans
Axial compact fans are suitable for high air performance with moderate pressure build-up. The flow of air through the fan blades is parallel to the rotation axis. ebm-papst offers a wide selection of AC and DC compact fans – from 25 to 280 mm – which are extremely flat, thanks to the space-saving integrated motor.

Centrifugal compact fans
Centrifugal fans are the unbeatable high-pressure specialists in centrifugal design with 90° air deflection and carefully optimized impellers. The ideal match for highly compact 1U and 2U rack-mount servers. In many sizes and hardware extension levels.

Diagonal compact fans
The operating point of the diagonal compact fan, compared to the axial compact fan, lies in a higher pressure range. The new diagonal compact fans offer more pressure with a significantly higher air flow. This makes them the perfect technology for cooling-intensive applications in tightly spaced components.

Featured Compact Fan: S-Panther

Our new compact fans may purr like a kitten, but they really roar into action when it comes to cooling. This is why we call them S-Panther. The combination of highly efficient GreenTech EC motors and a new aeroacoustic design achieves a significant increase in efficiency and lowers noise levels by up to 9 dB(A). Ideal for frequency converters, welding machines, solar inverters, IT or telecommunications applications. You can happily get a little closer.
